How does this work you ask?
First you purchase a strip pack or packs containing at least 42 strips from SEW-MINI Things.
Now reserve your sewing day & time. See calendar or store associate for dates and times.
Prepare your strips by sewing them end to end.
Want to have some interest in your strips? Feel free to insert blocks between the strips.
Total length of strips with or without inserts must be 1722”.
On the day or your sewing time, bring your strips(sewn together in a long chain), your sewing machine, thread, sewing supplies you require, and be ready to race the clock at the time you reserved. (Arrive 15 minutes before your start time to setup your machine) The timing starts at the time posted.
Set up a small group of friends (max 4 people per time slot) and make an outing of it.
There are several days and times which can be scheduled.
Tournament begins in late March and ends mid April. Which gives you plenty of time to prepare and practice your long stretches of straight stitching.
Times will be recorded and logged. You may enter and sew only once.
Times will not be posted until all participants have completed their sewing.
The winners will be notified at the time of posting.
