Overview
Our refund and returns policy is valid for 15 days. After 15 days we can not offer you a full refund or exchange. A 20% restocking fee may be assessed to any return. Shipping charges are not refundable and will be deducted from the final refund amount.
Items returned without an authorization will be charged are 50% restocking fee.
Items damage in shipping must be brought to the attention of the carrier who delivered the package and reported to SEW-MINI Things within 48 hours of receipt. Your report may be submitted by email sew@sewminithings.com
We will repair or replace items that are determined to be defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sew@sewminithings.com and obtain an RA (Return Authorization) before sending your item to: SEW-MINI Things 3820 N HWY 19A Mount Dora, FL 32757.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. If the item is defective, please be prepared to provide pictures clearly showing the defect. Based on the initial review, a course of action will be determined.
Machine Warranty
JUKI AMERICA, INC. (“JA”) warrants this home sewing machine (the “Product”), excluding consumable parts (such as needles, loopers, feed dogs, knife blades, bulbs, lamps and belts) to the original purchaser to be free from defects in the materials or workmanship of the Product under normal use and service from the date of purchase, as follows:
1. for a limited warranty period of two years on motors, light assembly, wiring, switches, circuit boards and speed control; and
2. for a limited warranty period of five years on all other parts.
If at any time during the applicable limited warranty period, the product is determined to be defective JA will replace or repair the Product, at JA’s option. The Product is warranted only for normal household non-commercial use. This limited warranty does not cover damages due to acts of God, accidents, misuse, abuse, negligence, Commercial use, or modification of, or to any part of the Product, This limited warranty shall be null and void unless the original purchaser (i) complies with all operating instructions in the manual provided or (ii) fails to have the Product periodically serviced and tuned by an authorized JA dealer in accordance with the manual.
This warranty may only be used by the original purchaser of this home sewing machine. This limited warranty is not transferable to any subsequent purchaser and/or owner. Service under this warranty may only be obtained within the United States and Canada. (see instructions below)
JA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAM-AGE OR DEFECT RESULTING FROM THE USE OF OTHER THAN JUKI PARTS AND APPROVED SERVICE IN THE REPAIR OF THE PRODUCT. REPAIR OR REPLACE-MENT AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE PURCHASER. JA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND INCLUDING INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY FROM ANY BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to you.
THERE ARE NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES OTHER THAN THOSE DESCRIBED HERE-IN. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROSCRIBED BY THE APPLICABLE LAW, THE DURATION OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUD-ING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANT-ABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ON THIS PRODUCT IS HEREBY LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIM-ITED WARRANTY. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.
To obtain limited warranty services the purchaser must deliver or send the Product post-age or freight pre-paid, to the JA dealer from whom the Product was purchased or to such other place as may be designated by JA, along with (a) the original dated bill of sale, (b) a copy of warranty registration confirmation email, and, (c) a written short description of the defect. JA is not responsible for any damage that occurs to the Product during transportation to or from the purchaser. JA recommends you retain original box and packaging material.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. They do not handle consumer issues directly.
Any warranty claims for sewing machines and sergers. must be filed by the selling dealer
There are certain situations where only partial refunds will be made:
- CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Only regular priced items may be returned. Sale items cannot be returned.
Exchanges

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
Always may consider using a trackable shipping service and purchase shipping insurance. You will be the shipper of record and we are not responsible for shipping damage or loss of package.
